As part of a weekend of dancing along the wall Hadrian Clog is hosting a traditional Northumbrian Ceilidh in the village hall. As well as clog dancing demonstrations there will be songs, music, northumbrian pipes and ceilidh dancing. Everyone is welcome, ring Georgia on 016977 47983 for tickets.
The Village Hall now has a complete set of new crockery- plates, tea plates and bowls that all match!! And a full set of bone china mugs too. Come along to any event in the hall and try it out! Coffee mornings every Monday 10 - 12 and Friday 10.30 - 12, and tea and coffee every Tuesday afternoon from 2pm.
We now have some lovely doggy hooks outside the hall for people to tie their pooches to. These were created and donated to the hall by Scott Goodfellow, Gilsland's very own wrought iron specialist. Many thanks Scott
